Why does Vittles ask to track my activity?

Please choose “Ask App not to track”

In an effort to be as accommodating as possible, Vittles allows users to quickly create an account and log in via Facebook. By merely having this Facebook Login API in our code, we’re required by Apple’s guidelines to include a prompt to ask the user for permission to be tracked. Hence the alert.

The world is a better place when you choose “Ask App not to track”.

There’s never a good reason to choose “Allow” and this is especially true with Vittles. We don’t track your activity on the app or sell any of your info to data brokers.

If this becomes an issue or point of contention, we will remove Facebook Login altogether (which would take some time). In the event that happens, those with their Facebook account connected will still be able to easily log into Vittles through other means.

In the meantime, you can rest assured that Vittles is not tracking or selling any of your data. We encourage you to choose “Ask App not to track” and that should take care of it.
